(10 Sep 2015) Many migrants and refugees making their way through Europe left the central train station in the Danish capital, Copenhagen, and arrived in Sweden on Thursday.
With some train connections from Germany now resuming, migrants and refugees are expected in greater numbers in Denmark.
But on arrival to Copenhagen many won't even leave the platform, instead boarding the commuter train to Malmo in southern Sweden.
Syrian refugee Aladin Alaya travelled to Malmo to meet his fiancee, whom he had not seen in more than a year since she was taken to Sweden by her parents.
Meanwhile in Roedby, on the Danish island of Lolland, there was no train and ferry service to bring passengers from neighbouring Germany.
The Danish railway company DSB said some train service between Germany and Denmark resumed Thursday after being suspended the day before.
