Hey Awesome Peeps, here's my review of the SGR trainride from Nairobi to Mombasa.

The ride costs us 30USD for VIP which we took while going and 10USD for regular which we took while coming back.

I think you will prefer the VIP section except you're on a budget trip then the Regular is just perfect. The regular is not bad as well, just more crowded and noisy.
