Shapps confirms first 12 green lit countries that are COVID-19 safe for travel

Grant Shapps has confirmed travel from England will be allowed from 17 May.

Each nation has a traffic light system - green, amber or red. Both Spain and Greece were among those that failed to make the green list.

*The countries on the green list include Portugal, Australia, New Zealand Singapore, Brunei, Iceland, Faroe Islands, Gibraltar; Falkland Islands, South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, Saint Helena and Israel.
