Scotland Announce Green List Countries for International Travel.
Nicola Sturgeon confirmed that Scotland will introduce a similar traffic light system to England for international travel.
There were no surprises on the green list with it for the moment being identical to England with the same 12 countries including many who currently dont accept UK tourists.
The main countries on the list that may interest holidaymakers are Portugal (including the Azores and Madeira ) , Iceland, Israel and Gibraltar.

Other countries include Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Brunei, Faroe Islands,Falkland Islands, South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, and St Helena, Tristan de Cunha and Ascension Island.

Nicola Sturgeon also highlighted that in future the green list may differ from England slightly depending on circumstances although how this could be enforced is still a mystery as you could simply drive across the border into England and jump on a plane !
If you travel from a green list country you will need to take a PCR test shortly after arrival but you won't be required to self-isolate. Remember countries have their own entry requirements and can move up and down the list.
Majority of countries are on Amber list which will mean taking 2 PCR Tests and self isolating at home for 10 days.
If you arrive from Red list countries including countries such as Turkey at the moment you will need to isolate in a hotel for 10 days at considerable cost.
