Green List Countries International Travel Update Latest News Today. Tenerife and the Canary Islands is not on the green list and is on Amber.Transport Minister Grant Shapps has just announced the countries on the green list for International travel from England from May 17th.

Here are some of the initial countries on the green list, expect more to follow in late June.

The Canary Islands were not on the list and there were also some surprise omissions.

Some of the countries on the green list are not even accepting UK visitors.

However there are a few holiday destinations.

Portugal including Madeira and Azores.

Israel.

Gibraltar.

Iceland.

Faroe Islands.

Australia.

New Zealand.

Singapore.

Iceland.

Brunei.

Falkland Islands.

Some remote islands were also added including South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, Saint Helena, Ascension Island and Tristan da Cunha.

The Traffic Light system will be monitored regularly every 3 weeks and countries may move
up and down levels .
