Ahoy guys,
Looks like Great Keppel didn’t want me to leave, Charmaine (Monitor Wind Vane) lost the pin which holds the rudder on.
I was about to hoist the headsail when I noticed, “looks like Charmaine's come to port” When I looked over the back of Narhval
The stainless steel rudder was being dragged behind!!

Very lucky I didn’t loose her, I quickly pulled her back onboard.

So I’m back on Keppel Island, Charmaine is back together and ready to go again. I have the full repair kit for the Monitor Wind Vane.

In other news, I’ve dragged anchor another two times since the thunderstorm I posted earlier.

I might have to finally ditch the 30KG Bruce Anchor and go with something better?
