Did you know that in Denmark, one of its Danish Christmas traditions is cutting down one's own Christmas tree? Yes, they cut real Christmas trees.
There are some 2,500 growers of Christmas trees in Denmark, and the annual production is 11 million trees - making Denmark one of the leading producers of Christmas trees in Europe.
In Denmark, decorating the Christmas tree in one's household tend to be traditional. On Christmas Eve, real candles are lit on the Christmas tree before the family sing Christmas hymn and dance around the tree. Buntings featuring the Danish flag, Christmas heart shapes in red and white shades are some of their Christmas trees' typical decorations.

In today's video, I will walk you through the shopping street in Holbæk, Denmark, where you can see the giant Christmas tree standing in the city center.
