Evergreen Autumn | CINEMATIC Drone Footage | Mavic 2 Pro Aerial Video (Shaver Lake, California)

Enjoy this 2 minute cinematic aerial short film shot in 4K on a Mavic 2 Pro drone with a couple ground clips recorded using a Sony a7R III.

Just 2 weeks into autumn on a calm and crisp morning, I hiked down to the lake from our family camp site about 1/2 a mile from shore.

Between 6-7AM, the light glows unlike any other time, and the lake itself has much to explore, with fields of granite boulders littering the shoreline, exposed sandbars waiting to be submerged during the first rain (or snow), and seemingly limitless acres of old evergreen trees surrounding the water.

Outside of regular boating season, it's a very serene place just to sit and relax (or take tons of high tech camera equipment and play around).

It was around 30 degrees so my Mavic 2 Pro batteries weren't running at full capacity. There was a couple more shots I wished I could have grabbed, but I think 2 minutes is just enough time to appreciate how calm this place is.

Shaver Lake is located within the Sierra National forest just east of central California.
