Architecture studio Henning Larsen has designed the Heart of Denmark pavilion for Rio 2016.

The pavilion is located at the iconic Ipanema Beach overlooking the Christ the Redeemer statue.

The pavilion will host a variety of activities and exhibitions centred on Danish design and art, as well as becoming a gathering point for Danish athletes, their families and supporters.
