Whilst in Helsinki, we decided to take a walk around at night to see what Finland's capital city was like at night. We weren't staying right in the city centre, so we decided walking to the bay would be the first port of call, and this came by walking through a cemetery, then past a dogging site and onto somebody's private island.

After walking through the Helsinki cemetery, we walked in a different direction and found some people jumping into the bay of Finland, which turned out to be the cool down from their Finnish sauna spa which was next to the bay. Let me remind you that at this time in Helsinki it was extremely cold and definitely not somewhere you'd want to be walking around half naked.

After seeing the people jump into the bay of Finland, we took a walk to the city centre to see what it was like. Helsinki looks nice at night, it's a very safe place with friendly people although very expensive.
