President Donald Trump's top trade adviser is Peter Navarro, who's written several books on China and economics.
In many of his books, he has cited a supposed Harvard scholar and investor named "Ron Vara."
But according to Business Insider, there's just one problem: Ron Vara himself doesn't exist.
In fact, Navarro told the Chronicle Review 'Ron Vara' is merely an alter ego.
