People from the United States will allowed to visit enter Costa Rica starting November 1st. Currently allowed- Currently authorized: California, Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia (and Washington, D.C.), Arizona, Colorado, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Washington and Wyoming. Requirements for tourists to enter Costa Rica

1.All people entering Costa Rica must complete the digital epidemiological form. This is known as the “Health Pass” or “Pase de Salud.” Click here for a link- https://salud.go.cr/

2. Tourists/visitors must acquire a negative PCR-RT coronavirus test. The sample for this test must have been taken at most 72 hours before the flight to Costa Rica.

3. Tourists must purchase travel insurance that covers accommodation in case of quarantine and medical expenses due to COVID-19. This policy can be international or purchased from Costa Rican insurers. The travellers insurance Travel Costa Rica NOW recommands, which is the bare minimum but does meet the requirements to enter Costa Rica. If you have any questions about the insurance, email our guy, Johnny at info@greenhealthcarecr.com ***it should be stated, if you don't have insurance when you enter Costa Rica, you can still get it before passing thru immigration via internet (not recommended) just sayin.

4. You need to show a return ticket within 90 days. There are no 1-way tickets to Costa Rica, you must show you are leaving within 90 days. *Nicaragua & Panama land border crossings are not an option at this time. It has to be a flight.
