Welcome to part 2 of our Playa Cala Major beach walk!

Playa Cala Major (also Platja Cala Major) is only 6 kilometres west of Palma de Mallorca, but the clear, blue water could rival many of those found in the Caribbean or Pacific. Surrounded by hotels with a few tall palms casting their long shadows over the rattan umbrellas and sun loungers, the beach itself is about 200 metres long with fine white sand. Facilities on site include cafes, toilets and public showers. Life guards are on duty during the beach's opening times and parasols and sun loungers are up for hire.

Willkommen zu Teil 2 unseres Strandspaziergangs Playa Cala Major! Wir beginnen mit einem spektakulären Blick auf den gesamten Strand von einem Aussichtspunkt auf der Carrer Bernat de Santa Eugenia. Nachdem wir die Treppe hinuntergegangen sind, passieren wir das 5-Sterne-Hotel Nixe und nehmen die Treppe von der Avinguda de Joan Miró zum Strand hinunter. Die Strandtour beginnt um 04:48 Uhr.

Playa Cala Major (auch Platja Cala Major) liegt nur 6 Kilometer westlich von Palma de Mallorca, aber das klare, blaue Wasser könnte es mit vielen in der Karibik oder im Pazifik aufnehmen. Umgeben von Hotels mit ein paar hohen Palmen, die ihre langen Schatten über die Rattanschirme und Sonnenliegen werfen, ist der Strand selbst etwa 200 Meter lang mit feinem weißen Sand. Zu den Einrichtungen vor Ort gehören Cafés, Toiletten und öffentliche Duschen. Während der Öffnungszeiten des Strandes sind Rettungsschwimmer im Einsatz und Sonnenschirme und Liegestühle können gemietet werden.
