Join us on 4th August at 8pm for Meet the Poet with prize-winning poets Heidi Williamson and Anne Osbourn! There will be a selection of readings motivated by Heidi and Anne’s shared interest in ideas of place, belonging and science, as well as exclusive interviews and discussions on their work.

Heidi Williamson lives in Norfolk as a poet, tutor and mentor. Having studied poetry and prose at the UEA, she now teaches a monthly poetry seminar for The Poetry School and mentors through The Poetry Society, The National Centre for Writing, and The Writing Coach. Heidi regularly leads writing workshops and is a professional member of the Association for Coaching.

Anne Osbourn is a scientist and poet living in Norfolk. Anne studied botany at Durham University and is now Professor of Biology at the John Innes Centre and Director of the Norwich Research Park Industrial Biotechnology Alliance, where she investigates plant natural product biosynthesis. She is an editor of the New Phytologist and has won the medal of the University of Helsinki, among other awards and honours.
