This video is an overview of my family's vacation adventure in October 2020. Mackinac Island is found in the straights of Mackinac which connects two of the Great lakes around Michigan. Lake Michigan is to the West and Lake Huron is to the East. We traveled across the 5 mile Mackinac bridge to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to St. Ignace where we took Shepler's ferry across to the Island. We had a great time riding the ferry as we took the one which goes under the Mackinac bridge then over to the Island. If you are in the waters East of the Mackinac bridge you are in Lake Huron. If you are in the waters West of Mackinac bridge you are in Lake Michigan.
