Jeju Island is known as the "Hawaii of South Korea". Maybe for it's inactive volcano- Hallasan? Or maybe from the stone sculptures that characteristically dot the island. The fantastic people here take a cue from their environment- everyone is on island time, even if tourism can create a false sense of urgency. You may also be lucky enough to run across unchained puppies while drinking your morning coffee.
