Ruth Owen OBE, chair of Whizz-Kidz was invited to the first of TTG's Diversity and Inclusion breakfast series. She told an audience of senior travel leaders:
“Wheelchair users are still not proportionately reflected in advertising...Images on the glossy [travel] brochures still reflect a healthy, smiling, nuclear family, usually white, overwhelmingly young, but never, ever with a wheelchair."
