Snow in April - Would you believe it?

Well, we can experience snow any time of the year on the Faroe Islands, but seldom as much snow during April and this years April weather.

This year spring arrived in the Faroe Islands with snowstorms instead of birdsong and sprouting flowers. One sunny day locals were hiking in the mountains and the next day we experienced a snow blizzard. It's no joke when we say that the Faroese weather is unpredictable.
