Hope you enjoyed today's video! We got to explore the beautiful city of Copenhagen, Denmark. We had a typical danish hotdog at Nyhaven (what you always see pictured of Copenhagen), stopped and watched a beach volleyball tournament, got some dairy free ice cream (I knew Copenhagen would have some!!!), saw the Amalienborg Palace, and our favorite of the day, Christiania. Christiania is an old military base that was taken over by squatters. Soon it became its own 'freetown' away from the rest of society. They run by their own rules and it really feels like you've entered a post apocalyptic world when you walk through the gates. It is full of artist who make the most beautiful street art and sculptures that are displayed all throughout the town. Full of restaurants and shops, it's definitely a must see in Denmark. We started off the day unsure if we would go there but are so glad we did. Christiana was definitely one of the coolest places we've ever been. We hope this video helped give you some tips on what to do in Copenhagen.
