In Denmark’s 1st Euro 2020 game this year, Christian Eriksen unfortunately collapsed and suffered a cardiac arrest. A cardiac arrest is when the heart stops beating, which can be fatal if not immediate medical attention is received. I want to join many others in congratulating the medical team assigned to that game for their quick response and fantastic efforts in resuscitating Eriksen. In this video, we are not going to look into what happened to Eriksen but more into the treatment he received and how there appears to be a growing trend in relation to heart conditions amongst players.
