Danish football fans geared up for their side's Euro 2020 quarter-final clash against the Czech Republic in Baku on Saturday.

Hundreds of Danish football fans could be seen wandering around the city hosting the match between Denmark and the Czech Republic, wearing red and white, enjoying beers and some singing before the match.

"Denmark of course will win and I think it will be two-zero so I think we will take it tonight and go to Wembley," said one Danish fan.

"I think it is a beautiful city, it did surprise me because I think something else because we are just here because of the match. Well, I am surprised it is a very nice place to be," he went on to say.

Both teams have become a big surprise in the tournament, with the Czech Republic forcing the much favoured Netherlands out of the competition in the round of 16, while Denmark thrashed Wales four-nil in the last round, accumulating a total of eight goals in their last two matches.

SOT, Danish football fan: "Denmark will take the win two-zero. Goal from Martin Braithwaite in the first half, and then a goal eight minutes before time from Joachim Maehle. We have a really good team at the moment, so I believe that we could take the win tonight."
