The place was built as a merchant's farm in 1835, but 1902 it became a seaside hotel. The buildings was built in different years.
The building that has been burnt down was a restaurant where you could enjoy a 7 course menu with wine and enjoy the good view.
After several owners and tenants, the hotel became abandoned and became more decayed until the restaurant burned down in 2012.
