Health and welfare systems in the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden) have much in common, but the responses to COVID-19 have been very different in terms of health communication, testing and tracing, physical distancing and rules for quarantine and isolation. Large differences between the Nordic countries have also been observed with regards to the surge in infections, population groups affected, excess mortality and economic impact. Why and how have Nordic countries responded differently to the pandemic? How have these differing responses shaped different outcomes so far? Join us in this webinar to learn more about the experience in Nordic countries and what lessons we might learn elsewhere.
