যুক্তরাজ্যের লন্ডনে ইংরেজির পরই যে ভাষা সবচেয়ে বেশি বলা হয় তা হচ্ছে বাংলা। অর্থাৎ লন্ডনে দ্বিতীয় সর্বাধিক প্রচলিত ভাষা হিসেবে স্বীকৃতি পেল ‘বাংলা’। গত ৪ ডিসেম্বর অফিসিয়ালি প্রকাশিত হয়, লন্ডনে ব্যবহৃত ভাষার তালিকা। এক সমীক্ষায় বলা হয় প্রধান ভাষা ইংরেজি, দ্বিতীয় ভাষা বাংলা। তৃতীয় ভাষা পোলিশ আর চতুর্থ টার্কিশ।
