In this video, I hike into Gribskov forest (in Denmark) to find the new shelters I've heard about. I hike through the crispy snow and end up by a shelter near the lake. It's very windy, but I manage to get the fire going.
It's been a long time since it was this cold in Denmark. Lakes and rivers were frozen enough to hold a bunch of people. The wind would freeze the condensation in my beard.
I know it's weird, but it has actually been a little dream of mine to make a winter hiking video with snow in it, and finally, it happened. (We don't get a lot of snow in Denmark anymore)
