We have had the pull of the ocean for a while. The idea of being able to live off grid on our sailboat. Raising the sails, feeling the wind on your face, while your mind is free. Sailing, it's a big decision but an environmentally small impact. Living on a sailboat is self sufficiency at its finest. Our sailboat is simple yet functional, holding everything we need on a smaller scale. We chose sailing because we just always enjoyed it. Now that we are sailors and living full time on our sailboat, we have learned that sailing is more than just sailing. Sailing is about the places, people, and projects. Sailing life means you are constantly on the move. The sailboat projects are constant but in our case we are used to doing projects on our once abandoned boat, so we know how to fix what needs fixing. Sailing is more than just sailing, its a way of life.
