Frankfurt is a large banking town, head of the European Euro. It is a modern and an old city. There are many things to see here. We took the Hop-On-Hop-Off bus and Boat to see the city and river. Across the river is the museum area with plenty of museums for everyone.

From the airport take ICE train 23 minutes to the Frankfurt Central station. Our hotel was just a 6-minute walk from the train station. Frankfurt is walkable but there also is great public transportation.

• Palm Garden (Botanical Gardens)
• Hop-On-Hop-Off bus & Boat
• Central Train Station
• Farmers Market
• Galleria shopping mall
• Old Opera House
• Romeberg (old section)
• Goethe Museum
• Iron pedestrian bridge over Main River
• Saint Bartholomew’s Church
