HI friends today I am going to talk about recent changes in student visa programme in UK.

During David Cameron’s Time as Prime minister Students were allowed to stay back unto 2 years after their course , But Unfortunately During Teresa May’s Reign she cut short the stay back period to only 4 months and that led to massive fall in students choosing Uk as a destination.
But when Boris Johnson came into power he brought back the old system into effect. He proposes to bring back 2 years stay back option for international candidates.

He also added that students during their 2 year programme can transfer student tier 4 visa into skilled work visa if they are eligible.

Currently around 450000 international student are in Uk and 2/3 of them are NON eu candidates. This new rule change would not support current candidates but it will come into effect from 2020.

Uk is looking to increase their student market from 450000 - 600000 by 2020.
