TOURIST (INDIGO TRAVELLER) trying SOMALI NATIONAL FOOD in Hargeisa, Somaliland... after coming back from 5 day trip around Somaliland visiting Berbera, sheikh, Burco, and Borama (check out the vlogs on my channel).. we say down to enjoy some somali national food, which as you can see food in Somaliland. The traditional cuisine of Somaliland uses the cereals commonly grown across the country. The staple diet consists of sorghum, millet and corn that is either ground into flour and used to make pancakes or cooked into a gruel that is high in carbohydrates. These basic cereals are supplemented with meats, milk products and rice. people here normally have this type of food for lunch or dinner.
