New Amsterdam Travel Video- Soar over colorful tulip fields like a bird in our first ever full drone video. There isn't a prettier place to be than in the Netherlands during tulip season. During April & May the tulips bloom and form a patchwork of color all over the Dutch countryside. The Bollenstreek area near the Keukenhof Gardens is the most popular place for tourists to visit. But did you know that the biggest area for tulip fields is in the Noordoostpolder of Flevoland- about an hour's drive north of Amsterdam. Every year Stepnop organizes a tulip festival with activities along the 100 km of tulip routes. This year's highlight is a field in the shape of a Mondrian painting to celebrate 100 years of the artist's work. Viewing the fields from above is specatacular and with the help of a Phantom drone, we did just that. Special thanks to Peter Verlouw and the Mulders for letting us film in their fields and to Margot Maljaars from Step for all her help.
