One's the life of the party, the other a little more reserved.
Princess Josephine and Prince Vincent, the adorable twins of Crown Princess Mary and Prince Frederik of Denmark, celebrated their sixth birthday on Sunday, prompting the Danish royal family to publish new photos of the pair.
Here Femail looks back at the twins' life in pictures, from family photo shoots to trips to the snow, with a cheeky Josephine often pictured pulling adorable faces for the camera while a bashful Vincent watched on.

On their sixth birthday the Royal family published black-and-white photos of the young royals.
And while their personalities appear to differ, the twins share more than a little in common when it comes to looks.
With soft blue eyes and blonde hair, there is not mistaking the twins who sat with their arms around each other for the adorable portrait.
While Vincent wore a collared shirt for the occasion, Josephine dressed in a sleeveless floral print vest and white top.

Vincent Frederik Minik Alexander and Josephine Sophia Ivalo Mathilda were born on January 8, 2011 to Australian-born Crown Princess Mary and her husband, Prince Frederik.
They are the youngest of the Danish royal family, with two older siblings Prince Christian, 11, and Princess Isabella, nine.
Vincent is the oldest of the pair by 26 minutes, and on the day of their birth, a 21-gun salute was fired from the Naval Base in Copenhagen.
The twins were christened on April 14, 2011 at the Church of Holmen in Copenhagen.

When the twins were just seven months old they were taken on board the royal yacht, where photos show the pair swaddled in soft white blankets in the arms of their parents.
Just two months later they travelled to Australia, and were photographed at Admiralty House in Sydney.
The twins visited Australia with their parents on what was their first official visit to the country since 2008.

When the twins were four-years-old they went on a ski holiday to Switzerland, where photos show them tobogganing down the slopes with their parents.
Princess Josephine is known for for bringing a sense of fun to royal proceedings with the six-year-old pictured on many occasion pulling faces for the camera.
During the Hubertus Hunting Event in 2015 Josephine was photographed pulling a series of hilarious facial expressions, playing with her Minion toy, and generally acting up alongside her twin brother Vincent.
She is also known to steal the show at the family's annual photo calls, waving her hands in the air and grinning as the plays in front of the camera.

On Monday New Idea magazine reported Princess Mary, who is in line to take the throne from Queen Margrethe, hopes to delay becoming queen to spend more time with her children.
The publication reported a source to have said: 'Having to take over from an inspirational woman is terrifying for Mary. Truth be told she'd love to just be a mum to her kids for a couple more years'.
The twins' birthday comes just one week after the Danish royal family celebrated the New Year with a series of banquets and events.
There their mother Princess Mary shone in a series of designer gowns, and recycled the same plum cape in a matter of days.
