Opera House is an iconic, Award winning architecture, located on the water, Belonging point, on the eastern site of circular quay and next to botanical Garden. It's a signature landmark of Sydney. You might see opera house photos on some Sydney's souvenirs.

If we Talk about, In 1955 a design competition was taken place in which they have received 233 entries from architectures all over the world after viewing all of them, they have selected this design of opera house, which was designed by Jorn Utzon. He was from Copenhagen Denmark


Construction of this building was started in 1959 and was completed in 1973.


It took almost 14 years, and was opened on 20 October 1973


So this was the history of Opera house.

Opera house is a multi venue performing arts centre, host more than 1600 performances in a year in it's Theater. You can also enjoy at the opera bar

From here we can see beautiful view of harbour bridge, the world's largest steel arch bridge.
