One of the most instagrammable canals in Copenhagen - NYHAVN

The picturesque houses are as colorful as their historical highlights.

Tucked into the basement of the iconic Nyhavn 17, is the world’s oldest still-functioning tattoo parlor. It has been in operation since 1884.

The house No.9 is the oldest house built way back 1681, and has not undergone any major renovation ever since.

The famous Danish fairytale writer of “The little mermaid, The Ugly Duckling”, Hans Christian Andersen, used to live in 3 different houses along the canal.
