Mia's Riding Adventure
This is a "disco" ride which opened in summer 2015. It is a spinning disc ride where you are held in your seat, facing outwards in a circle and you are spun round whilst the disc itself slides backwards and forwards on a curved track. It was built in place of the closed Digger Challenge experience.
The theming on this ride is rather infantile. Each rider straddles a plastic pony, coloured and styled to appeal to the younger members of the family. This gives the impression of a gentle, quiet and perhaps slow ride. In reality, it is anything but!
Once you have got through the queue you are placed in a holding area up some stairs (there is a lift available). Bags go in a cage. Choose your pony (don't leave any gaps, each ride is full). Climb on it and wait for the back support to lift up and hold you in - it's quite firm (it needs to be).
