We decided to take Max on a little trip to Nordjylland, we had a family reunion to go to and it was perfect for his first domestic trip. We visited the vacation beach town Løkken. Løkken Beach is famous for it's wide white sandy beach with 500 little beach huts during the summer season. The tiny houses are places on the beach during the summer season and taken away again at winter.

In Løkken town Morten had a beer at the local brewery "Løkken Bryghus" and sat down for lunch at the historic "Løkken Badehotel". If you go be sure to check out Bolcheriet http://bolcheriet.dk/forside.aspx where they make the cutest little candies from natural ingredients.. they were really good:)

During the second world war Germans had 7000 bunkers build in Denmark, we saw a few of them. At Furreby Kystbatteri you can see a whole bunch of them which have been washed out of the dunes and onto the beach.
