Ireland’s Nordic Strategy, rooted in the Global Ireland initiative, will provide a strong framework to deepen Ireland’s bilateral and multilateral engagement with Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden - and to increase our joint influence internationally over the next five years. Our already strong trading relationship has the potential to grow as our economies recover from the pandemic and address ambitious climate action goals. Ireland and the Nordics are natural partners with our technological and scientific expertise as we seek to create a sustainable green future.
