Heads of delegations from about 50 countries participating in the Nuclear Security Summit in Washington D.C., arrived at the White House on Thursday afternoon.

The delegation heads include Chinese President Xi Jinping, French François Hollande, UK Prime Minister David Cameron, and Republic of Korea President Park Geun-hye.

Issues regarding terrorism in the context of nuclear security will likely be featured in the agenda of this year’s summit, as the terrorists behind the recent attack in Brussels were linked to an attempt targeting a Belgian nuclear facility. The world leaders will also discuss the nuclear development in the northern part of the Korean peninsula.

This is the fourth Nuclear Security Summit. The first summit was held in Washington D.C., in 2010, and was followed by additional summits in Seoul in 2012 and the Hague in 2014.
