From Promenades to Comrades - Poland's Baltic Coast | Next Stop Everywhere

Our Big Baltic Adventure takes us over the border into Poland.

The Baltic coast winds along here until it reaches the Russian border with Kalingrad, where unfortunately we can't cross BUT it doesn't matter... there's SO much to see here in Poland!

As we cross the German-Polish border we arrive into the stunning tourist-heavy beach resort of Międzyzdroje (complete with Hollywood-style 'walk of fame' and Danish-style Lego exhibition!) - perfect for a wander any maybe an ice-cream as big as Claire's head! (true story!)

Then it's on to the seaside-y delights of Niechorze where we pitch up at the gorgeous 'Camping Pomona' for a bit of R&R, and to get the washing done... needs must and all that.

Back on the road, we decide on an unplanned stop on a genuine abandoned Soviet air base, parked neatly on one of the massive runways, we spend the night at old Polish/Russian Kołobrzeg air base - where we investigate the military past of this fascinating Cold War relic.

And finally, another seaside stop sees us in the lovely sights of Ustka - famed for it's mermaid (excuse the fact she's topless eh!), quirky promenade and tour-boat-cum-pirate ship!

We've quickly fallen a little bit in love with Poland, and our next vid sees us hitting the cities on the Baltic coast too. Hurrah!
