" Chinna veerampattinam beach" or “Eden Beach” is one of the stunning and cleanest beaches in Pondicherry. The Eden Beach at Chinna Veerampattinam has been nominated for the Blue Flag Beach certification programme by the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
The Blue Flag certification will lead to construction of environment-friendly temporary structures to promote tourism on Chinna Veerampattinam beach. The moment a Blue Flag is hoisted on the beach it will be noticed by the Foundation for Environment Education in Copenhagen, Denmark, and propagated across the world for tourists to take note. The tourists who are familiar with blue flag certification and standards will plan their holidays here.
Thousands of travellers from all around the world visit Veerampattinam village to see the gorgeous beach. The biggest coastal village in Pondicherry is Veerampattinam village. The beach is 7 km away from the city of Pondicherry. Tourists can take over the sailing to have the wonderful view of the Veerampattinam Beach. The famous historical place Arikamedu is found close to the Veerampatinam village.
The soft white sands of the beach with blue water is a treat for the eyes and tempts the guests to have a sun bath. It is one of the top ten beaches in India
