A court in Denmark has upheld an extradition request for the daughter of Choi Soon-sil, the central figure in a huge corruption scandal that resulted in the impeachment of former President Park Geun-hye.
Twenty-year old Chung Yoo-ra, is wanted for questioning by Korean authorities in relation to the scandal.
Chung had been hiding in Denmark when she was arrested in January for staying in the country illegally.
Upon the court's ruling Wednesday,... Chung immediately filed an appeal, although she did say that she's willing to return to Korea if the government allows her to take care of her own baby.
In March, her former lawyer told Reuters that Chung would challenge the extradition ruling and even apply for political asylum if necessary.
