The sixth episode – “The Magic of Longevity Village in Bama” of the microfilm series “Better Tourism, Better Life, Better World” takes you to Bama Yao Autonomous County, also known as the “Longevity Village”, which is located in southern China. Located in Northwest Guangxi, Bama Yao Autonomous County, covering an area of 1,976 square kilometers, has jurisdiction over 10 townships, 103 administrative villages and four communities. The county is populated by 12 ethnic groups, including Yao, Zhuang and Han, with a total population of 305,000. Ethnic minorities account for 85.2% of the total population, of which Yao population makes up 17.46%. Speaking of longevity in Bama, it is closely related to its ecological environment, which is said to be a piece of pure land left by Heaven on the earth. The charm of Bama lies in its magical ecological environment and its “five differences”.
