PORT OF AARHUS

The Port of Aarhus - Danish or Aarhus Havn is a deep-sea port located in the city of Aarhus.
Aarhus is the second-largest city in Denmark. The multipurpose Port of Aarhus, located in the mid-eastern part of Jutland is one of Denmark's largest container port, allowing the world's biggest oceangoing vessels. Last 2013, the company handled 431,000 TEU, comprising around 60% of country's market share in container sector.

The Port of Aarhus is one of Northern Europe’s biggest ports. And the largest container port in Denmark, handling more than 50% of country's container traffic.
With a total length of 8.8 km, 5.3 km pier, and 2.5 mio m2 basin, the world's largest container ships call at our port. The Port of Aarhus shipped roughly 8.4 million metric tonnes of cargo last 2017.

Port of Aarhus is divided into six areas: container terminal, multi terminal, bulk terminal, tank terminal, ferry terminal and cruise ships berth.

Aarhus is a port of call for Maersk Line's AE10 service, which directly links Europe and the Far East. The port can be reached through regular feeder/shortsea connections provided by operators; MSC, CMA CGM/MacAndrews, Unifeeder, Seago Line, Containerships, Hapag-Lloyd, Eimskip, Samskip, Sea Connect and K-Line.
