Hola/ Hello everybody and welcome to the 10th section of our amazing Sri Lankan adventure! In this episode we head to Polonnaruwa to visit the world famous UNESCO site: The Ancient City, which is a bundle of shrines and temples.
We hired a bike to get around which was great but if you’d rather something a little more luxurious you can hire a car/ driver or tuk tuk to take you around. We found a bike great as most of the ground is flat and you could get into all of them little nooks and crannies that a car or the like would’nt get in too!

From Polonnaruwa we headed to Habarana to spend the night in a treehouse! We wished we had had more time to spend in this area because it’s known for authentic home stays and it’s original culture but we were pushed for time unfortunately. But we had an amazing time at our stay and we would HIGHLY recommend a stay there if you ever visit this amazing country!
