Todays video is about the worlds longest walking street Strøget. Strøget is one of the main tourist spot in Denmark. Strøget is a pedestrian and its a car free shopping zone in the central of Copenhagen, Denmark. The pedestrianisation of Strøget in 1962 marked the beginning of a major change in the approach of Copenhagen to urban life. The success of the initiative the city moved to place a much greater emphasis on pedestrian and bicycle access to the city at the expense of cars. Strøget was converted to a pedestrian zone on 17 November 1962. Inspired by a number of new pedestrian streets created in Germany the street had closed to traffic for some of days at Christmas.

Close by this worlds longest walking street there is also Round tower. The Round tower is 38m above ground level. This is also one of the noted places to visit in Copenhagen, Denmark.
